- Burned
- Places two damage counters during Checkup, then a heads coin flip removes Burned.
Example
Place 20 damage from Burned, then flip heads and remove the Burn marker.

- Asleep
- Stops attacks and retreat. Flip during Checkup, and heads wakes the Pokémon.
Example
Your Asleep Pokémon cannot retreat, but a switch effect can move it to the Bench.

- Paralyzed
- Stops attacks and retreat until Checkup after its owner’s next turn.
Example

- Confused
- Flip before attacking. Tails stops the attack and places three damage counters on the attacker.
